Spring 2025 Undergraduate Report

The brothers of the Alpha Mu chapter started the spring semester off strong recruiting a class of 20 new members!

The executive board had the opportunity to attend Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers in Dallas where the board had the opportunity to learn more about leadership as well as receive guidance in their positions. Archon Robert Ritter also had the opportunity to spend some time with the CEO of the national organization Jake Henderson.

As the chapter moved into February all eyes were set on THON. This year the chapter was paired up with the lovely ladies of Alpha Delta Pi (ADPi). We had three dancers, lead by our Philanthropy Chairman Anthony Clinton. Our other dancers were THON chairs Andrew Brown and Nolan McCormack. Some of the brothers also had the opportunity to go on stage with one of our Four Diamonds kids Connor Rowan during the kids talent show where he sang a song from the movie “The Greatest Showman”.

Thanks to generous donations from countless alums and family members the brothers were able to raise over $115,000 for THON this year! We raised more than 50% more than our previous year’s total. Including ADPi, the two organizations raised almost $195,000 and were in 11th place out of all Greek pairings. It was a phenomenal year for the Alpha Mu chapter and we are expecting to continue our growth as leaders on campus in THON.

In April, we hosted War of the Roses with Delta Zeta sorority as well as the Best Buddies organization. This included a carnival with games and balloon animals, as well as a bake sale. All proceeds went to the Ability Experience, which is Pi Kappa Phi’s national philanthropy (formally known as Push America).

Also in April, the chapter hosted Parent’s Weekend with DZ at 409 E. Fairmount. In total there were 600 guests in and out of the house over the weekend. Brothers had the opportunity to connect with some alums spanning multiple decades.

Prior to Parent’s Weekend, the brothers conducted a work week to prepare the house for guests. This included deep cleaning throughout the house as well as updated paint jobs around the basement. The chapter was lucky enough to receive some support from the Alumni Board to help cover the costs of paint and cleaning supplies. The help of alum Jason Borelli has not gone unnoticed by the chapter as he was integral in the planning and execution of Parent’s Weekend.

Overall, the undergrads of Pi Kappa Phi are very excited for the 25-26 school year and now about 8 years after rechartering are stronger than ever. Alumni should feel free to email any officer or stop by the house if they’re in town if they have any questions or want to take a walk through the house!
