In our Fall 2024 newsletter, we shared the sad news of the passing of Peter Calaboyias ’62. Recently, his daughter shared with us two pieces of Pi Kappa Phi history that she came across while going through his things.
The first is a letter written by Pi Kappa Phi to Peter in 1984, telling him that they found a letter that he and his pledge brothers hid in the wall of the house in 1960.
The second is a scan of the actual letter written by Peter and his pledge brothers, which was hidden in the wall all those years ago.
Peter’s daughter also said that the Chapter may be interested to see these letters and perhaps hunt for the letter that was later hidden in 1994! If you happen to find it, please let us know.
