Pi Kappa Phi Alpha Mu Announces Alumni Mentoring Program
Pi Kappa Phi Alpha Mu undergraduates are in the process of developing a new Alumni Mentoring Program with the goal of fostering relationships between actives and alumni.
At a glance, this program will pair one student with one alumni mentor to develop a strong one-on-one bond, and many students and alumni have already signed up. This includes the alumni liaison, Harry Barfoot ’77, and the undergraduate liaison, Andrew Brown.
According to Andrew Brown, the commitment level will be “generally low” for alumni, and more involved on the student half. Ultimately, any time alumni are in State College, including during football weekends, would be a great time to connect with the students.
Please stay tuned for our next eLetter for more details to come. This inaugural program will evolve over time. Anyone interested in supporting this, or to volunteer to mentor an undergraduate, please reach out to Harry Barfoot at harry.barfoot@gmail.com.
