Recently, the Timothy J. Piazza Center for Fraternity and Sorority Research surveyed the Alpha Mu chapter by administering the University Learning Outcomes Assessment (UniLOA) to the undergraduate brothers. Participants were asked to answer questions regarding five of seven domains UniLOA considers: communication, critical thinking, diversity, citizenship, and leadership.
To view the PDF of the full survey results and see how Pi Kappa Phi stacks up against the aggregate, please see below.
Overall, Pi Kappa Phi is well on track with UniLOA’s aggregate data of other fraternities, and the results are promising. In the survey’s conclusion, it is stated that if the trends shown continue, “it will emphasize that fraternities not only contribute to positive learning outcomes across all five domains but also facilitate this learning, particularly among first-generation and low SES students.”
The Piazza Center strives to become a national leader in creating new knowledge about policies, professional practices, and educational programs that are known to transform the fraternity and sorority experience.
