Our class of 2021 is nearing graduation and getting ready to join the world’s best alumni brotherhood. We recently heard from one of our amazing seniors, Tom Sottile. Learn more about Tom, and see what he had to say about THON below.
Tom Sottile is a senior Finance major in the Smeal College of Business who has been involved with THON on committees and with Pi Kapp over his four years. This year, Tom had the distinct honor of being one of the THON 2021 dancers! What a great honor!
“I always knew I wanted to dance in THON and I have been fortunate enough to be involved in THON every year during my time at Penn State. For my first THON my freshman year, I was showing my support in the stands, sophomore year I took care of two dancers through volunteering on the Dancer Relations THON committee, and last year I served as a THON chair for Pi Kapp. I am so grateful for the opportunity to dance in THON 2021, represent Pi Kapp, raise awareness for childhood cancer, and be part of something bigger than myself. Throughout the weekend, I will be dancing for Clay and our THON family while keeping in mind all the incredible people I have met through this organization.”
