Ted Kraybill (C#754) pledged in the Spring of 1972 and graduated in March 1975. While in the house, he was Social Chairman and served a year as Treasurer. He also served on the Interfraternity Council as Membership Chairman and worked on the first IFC Dance Marathon.
Ted majored in Pre-medicine but never made it to medical school. Instead, he spent his first year after graduation in a pharmacology PhD program at Penn State’s Hershey Medical Center before deciding on a career change. After working six years in various manufacturing positions for M&M/Mars, Ted entered Harvard Business School and graduated with an MBA in 1983.
For the next thirteen years, Ted worked for various large management consulting firms in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and service quality management for clients in manufacturing, financial services, aerospace and defense, and automotive. In 1996, he started his own company working with auto manufacturers and their dealer networks. In 2022, Ted sold the company to an AI technology startup in Scottsdale AZ.
Ted is currently semi-retired in an Executive Advisor role for his former company. After living in Clearwater, FL for seventeen years, he moved to Harrisburg, PA last year to be closer to family and to get more involved in Penn State, THON®, and Pi Kappa Phi.
